What Our Patients Are Saying
What Our Patients Are Saying From comprehensive urological assessments to advanced treatments, our clinic is committed to supporting urinary and men’s health with expert care, discretion, and compassion.
Mr Khan was extremely professional and explained every aspect regarding my diagnosis and ongoing treatment. My surgery for kidney cancer went very smoothly and the care and support at Guys London Bridge was very good. Had a follow up 2 weeks post operation and a thorough explanation of the surgery and after care. Also great support from the PA. All in all an excellent experience.
C. Hutton
Very Happy with my treatment/operation it went very well and Mr Khan explained things fully at the follow up appointment. I was put at ease that everything went to plan and the future scan requirements to monitor going forward.
J. Martin
The most amazing surgeon and person I have ever met. Very calm, very clear and very reassuring. Throughout my entire journey everything was explained clearly. My surgery was seamless and recovery was amazing with only paracetamol needed. Not all superhero wear capes

Totally happy and satisfied with everything Mr. Khan has done for me in dealing with my kidney cancer. He has shown me the utmost kindness and sympathy and his operating skills have helped me to a remarkably swift recovery with no / minimal post-op. effects. Can’t praise him highly enough – and this praise comes from me, a fellow doctor.

Everything You Should Know About Urology Care
How do I book an appointment?
You can book an appointment by calling our clinic or submitting an online booking request. Our team will confirm your schedule and provide any additional instructions needed before your visit.
Do I need a referral to see an Urology Consultant?
A referral is not always required. You may self-refer for a consultation, though some insurance providers may ask for a GP referral, so it’s best to check your coverage beforehand.
How often should I have my Urology checked?
Frequency depends on your symptoms, age, and risk factors. Most people only need checks when issues arise, but those with ongoing concerns should follow their urologist’s recommended schedule.
How long does an Urology exam take?
A standard consultation usually lasts 30–45 minutes. If additional tests, scans, or lab work are necessary, your total visit may extend to about one to two hours.
What should I bring to my appointment?
Bring a valid ID, insurance details, current medications list, previous test results, and any relevant medical history. Preparing questions or concerns beforehand helps ensure a smooth and productive appointment.
Do you accept private health insurance?
Yes, most major private health insurance providers are accepted. Coverage may vary depending on your plan, so confirming with your insurer before your consultation or procedure is recommended.
Do I need pre-authorization from my insurance?
Many insurers require pre-authorization for consultations, tests, and procedures. Our team can assist with the details, but it’s important to contact your insurer to confirm requirements beforehand.
Can I self-pay for my consultation or treatment?
Yes, self-pay patients are welcome. Transparent pricing is provided for consultations, diagnostic tests, and procedures, ensuring you understand all costs before proceeding with any treatment.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept major credit and debit cards, bank transfers, and approved insurance payments. Our administrative team will guide you through available options during booking or before your appointment.
Will I receive a cost estimate before treatment?
Yes, you will receive a clear cost breakdown for consultations, tests, and procedures. This ensures you fully understand charges, whether using insurance or self-paying for your treatment.
